Privacy Policy

Effective 25 October 2026 · Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains how Auspicious Time ("we", "us") handles information in the Auspicious Time: Task Planner — the planner on auspicioustime.in and in the Auspicious Time apps — and on the Choghadiya page (auspicioustime.in/choghadiya). In short: we store only what the planner needs to plan your tasks, we do not sell your data, there are no advertising SDKs, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app.

What the planner stores

To find a good time for your tasks, the planner keeps the following on our server:

We also count how many tasks you add each calendar month, because the Free and Pro plans have a monthly limit. Your browser or phone keeps a copy of your tasks, your settings and any unsaved note so that the planner opens quickly and works for a while without a connection.

How task text is processed

When you add a task, its text is sent to the Google Gemini API, which turns it into a title, a kind of activity and, where you mention them, a date or deadline. Google processes this text only to answer our request and does not use it to train its models. Your notes are never sent to Gemini.

Alerts

Task alerts are scheduled on your own device. We do not send push notifications from our server.

Where your data is kept

The planner's server runs on DigitalOcean in Bangalore, India, and is operated by us — the same company that makes the Easy Hisab app. Your data is stored in a managed MySQL database in the same region. All traffic between the app and the server, and inside our hosting, is encrypted with TLS.

The website and the planner's server sit behind Cloudflare, which delivers the pages, protects them against attacks (DDoS protection) and gives us aggregate edge analytics. Cloudflare processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to do this; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase

The task planner — on auspicioustime.in and in the Auspicious Time Android app — uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count anonymous usage events: a task being added, marked done or rescheduled, a sign-in, and the Pro screen (paywall) being shown, together with the app or page language and, on the website, whether the visit came from an advertisement. The website and the app send the same events.

Analytics never receives your name, email address, task titles, notes or any other account data. We use these figures only to understand how the planner is used and how well our advertising works. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. On the website you can block it with your browser's privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; in the app, clearing the app's storage or reinstalling it resets the app-instance id.

Where enabled, we also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or fingerprinting and only shows us aggregate traffic.

The Choghadiya page

The Choghadiya page needs no account and sends nothing about you to our server; apart from the anonymous analytics described above, nothing leaves your device. All times are calculated in your browser or on your phone. It stores only your language, your city and your light/dark theme, locally on your device.

Advertising and selling of data

The planner and the apps contain no advertising SDKs. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf, or where the law requires it. We may advertise the planner on other sites (for example with Google Ads); the analytics described above only tell us whether a visit came from such an advertisement.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can see, change and delete your tasks in the planner at any time. To get a copy of your data, email support@auspicioustime.in from the address you signed in with and we will send it to you. You can delete your account yourself, in the app, as described below.

Account deletion

This applies to the Auspicious Time Android app and to the website (auspicioustime.in): it is one account, and deleting it from either place deletes it everywhere.

In the app or on the website, open the account menu (the person icon) → Delete my account, and confirm.

This deletes your account and all your tasks on every device, at once, and cannot be undone. If you can no longer sign in, email support@auspicioustime.in from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

Children's privacy

Auspicious Time is a general-audience planner and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where they affect how your data is used, shown in the app.

Contact

Auspicious Time is made by Anvith Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, India. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@auspicioustime.in.
